Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit Canapes
Delight your friends at your next party with these delicious and healthy canapes.
Ingredients
- 6 firm, ripe Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit, sliced 1 cm thick and stamped into ‘flowers’ shape with a cutter
- 1 – 2 packs of small savoury rice crackers or cheese crackers
- 1 portion Herb Cream Cheese (see information below)
- 1 portion Spiced Cream Cheese (see information below)
- Sprigs of fresh herbs or chilli flakes for garnishing
Herb Cream Cheese Canapes Ingredients
- 125g cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 30g butter
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh dill
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Large pinch ground black pepper
Spiced Cream Cheese Canapes Ingredients
- 125g cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 30g butter
- ¼ teaspoon chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika powder
- Large pinch ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt

Directions (same for both types of cream cheese)

Beat cream cheese in a small bowl with a wooden spoon till smooth and creamy.

Add butter and combine.

Stir in the remaining ingredients. When well mixed, spoon mixture into a piping bag fitted with a large star nozzle. Pipe rosettes onto the crackers and top with a flower-shaped SunGold Kiwifruit. Garnish with chopped herbs or herb sprig if desired. Serve immediately.
