Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit Yoghurt Ice Cream

A natural, healthy and totally easy way to make your kid happy!


  • 600g Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit (peeled weight)
  • 400g thick natural yoghurt (Greek style)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar or honey (optional)

Zespri® SunGold Kiwifruit Yoghurt Ice Cream


  1. Peel and slice SunGold Kiwifruit and freeze for at least 4 hours.

  2. Close to serving time, place frozen SunGold Kiwifruit, chilled yoghurt and honey (or sugar if required) in a deep and chilled container. Working quickly, whiz with an electric stick blender to make a smooth ice cream.

  3. Serve immediately in chilled tumblers and garnish with additional slices of SunGold Kiwifruit if desired.

Tip: if mixture warms up and looks too runny to serve as an ice cream, return mixture to freezer and freeze for about 1 hour or until firm.
